This book is very good at reminding us and showing us how to use our minds to hep us lose the unwantd pounds. The CD really helps, too.

Mr.McKenna uses hypnotic affects on the CD that comes with the
book. The book is only a small part of his premise. The CD works on
your mind in a subtle way to help you eat less and make better
choices. To call it a diet book is not quite accurate. I have not
lost much weight, yet but have noticed changes in the way I
approach food. In have reason to think that the system may
work.
The CD is extremely relaxing and by itself is a good stress relief.
I have fought the "battle of the bulge" for fifty years and now I
think I may have found a (at least partial) solution.

I read the book and listened to the CD for months. It did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for me. The book is useless.....all common sense. The CD is annoying and did nothing to "hypnotically" change anything for me. It literally put me to sleep....but no hypnotic affect. Don't waste your time or your money!

love all his books and especially the hypnosis cds.
I have been listening to the cd every day for the last 4 weeks and
I have seen great changes.
The book and cd have helped me get and stay in a positive mindset
and boost my self-esteem to carry out my weight loss journey.
It's simple and makes sense. I use the smartforlife cookies with
the program wich is quite similar, eating smaller amounts of food
troughout the day. The smartforlife cookies just take out the
guesswork in chosing a healthy meal. What I have learnt in this
book will carry me though my weight loss journey and
maintenance.
This book is wonderful must read...
